Haworth Vintage Festival

Today my family and I went down to Haworth (Bronte Country) to the 1940s vintage weekend. I was dreading it at first, I mean it's totally my mum's thing; vintage, green and busy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The car journey wasn't too long, considering we got lost and ended up going round in a circle, and there were lots of picturesque views. It took us about an hour to work our way through the village which was decorated with bunting and British flags, and after that we went to the bakery stalls and bought some fudge. The streets were crammed with tourists which made me feel a bit claustrophobic, but it was interesting to see the effort people had put into their 1940s outfits.
