Pebble beach and Poems

 08/05/16

Patience Elizabeth was the most beautiful creature to step foot on our planet,
Her hair was like wild fire, spiced with the most gorgeous shades of ginger,
I wanted to take it down and let it fall delicately to her shoulders but I knew that
Even if I removed each hairpin individually, that firm beehive would not budge,
Her smile was like sunshine in a field full of harsh rose thorns,
Her eyes a beautiful emerald, glistening as her lips spoke the words ‘I love you Deels’
But still I left her standing, to walk alone in the pouring rain,

If only I could remember her, then things could be the same.
